Whats the point of wifi calling?

There is no point having wifi calling anymore. It use to be that when you chose wifi calling, you called through wifi but now it chooses whether to use network or wifi depending on signal, yet if i try call someone from my sofa, they can't make out my voice because the signal is shit but still chooses that over wifi. Is it just idmobile?

Thank you for sharing. I'm sorry to hear your Wi-Fi calling isn't working the way you'd expect. I understand how frustrating it is when people can't hear you clearly on a call.

To help us work out what's causing this, could you try the following:

Restart your device to refresh your connection to the network.
Turn Airplane Mode on for around 30 seconds, then turn it off again.
Remove your SIM card, gently wipe it with a clean, dry cloth, reinsert it, and restart your device.
Check that your device software is fully up to date.
Reset your network settings to refresh your device's connection to the network.
