Welcome to the world of Id(ont care) Mobile.

When you check the network status you will probably see this…

We're fixing an issue in this area at the moment and aim to have things back up-and-running as soon as possible.

We're sorry for any disruption this may cause and will add any further updates here.

...a message that hasn’t changed in weeks. What constitutes ‘as soon as possible’ in my mind is obviously very different to I dont care mobile.

Hi @Gigi1,

We're sorry to hear about the issues you've been experiencing with your coverage.

We appreciate how frustrating it can be when the service you're receiving doesn't match what you'd expect, particularly if the coverage checker is showing strong coverage in the areas where you're having problems.

As a first step, we'd recommend checking the coverage checker again to see if there are any reported issues or maintenance affecting the locations concerned: https://www.idmobile.co.uk/help-and-support/coverage-and-networks/network-coverage-checker

If the issue persists, please contact our Live Chat team so they can investigate further and check whether there are any network-related issues affecting your service: https://www.idmobile.co.uk/live-chat

They'll be able to review your account and discuss any available options based on the outcome of their investigation.

Regards,

Even the first link you gave me doesnt work. 404.

Sheesh, the service is soo pathetically poor it’s probably worth putting in a complaint to ofcom about being ‘not fit for service’.

This is what i have to do to get ‘any’ kind of data. An elastic band and a magnet hard up against a window that ‘has’ to be open. Can barely get email. Streaming the world cup games? Forget it. Not to mention if its rains my phone gets a soaking! Not good enough. Not fit for purpose. And i checked the network coverage before i even signed up. It said it was good. Clearly not the case.
