I’ve just recently joined id mobile, and I’ve getting a lot of missed called text messaged. When i do answer the phone it common the call will drop around 30-60 second mark, I've tracked it down to when wifi calling is enabled, if i disable it, i see have no issues will calls disconnecting during conversion.

Is wifi calling broken, i don’t have great reception inside my house, is there a fix for this? it didn’t happen on my old network

I’m using an iPhone 17 Pro with esim

I have an iPhone 17 Pro and I haven’t had any issues with Wi-Fi calling. Sounds like a firewall issue! Try rebooting your router @richc2025.

Sounds like this might be an issue with iOS 26, @richc2025

Hopefully Apple and the UK network operators can rectify the problem with an update for the Network Provider details (carrier settings).

Have you tried using the iD WiFi calling service with your iPhone in Airplane Mode?

Thank you for help,

I have traced the problem and yes it was a router issue, i have two wifi 7 access point and found it was the Roaming Assistant / Band Steering setting in the 5 GHz, within my internet router/access points.

Disabling this setting has fixed the problem.  I’ve attached screenshot of the setting if this is helpful for anyone else that might experience a similar problem
