Wifi calling not working

Hi my Wifi calling when using my phone even though it works when I call using WiFi on WhatsApp, Does anyone know what the problem could be? I’ve turned phone on/off; turned WiFi calling on/off; put airplane mode on etc. Thanks

Hi there ​@Elsinlondon, to confirm, your issue is that Wi-Fi calling isn’t working, or that it works when you don’t want it to be on?

I’ve asked a similar question three weeks ago, and nobody has responded, not even iD mobile employees. I hope maybe there will be some useful info on this thread. :(

Which handsets are you using?

Please try turn Airplane mode on and only enable Wi-Fi and make a call. I would also advise to check the Wi-Fi calling settings.

Hi Kash, I have a Google Pixel 4a. On my own thread, I’ve listed all of the things I’ve tried, which include your suggestions here. None of those have fixed the problem. Could I ask you to please take a look there as well?

Thank you for letting us know and for confirming that you’ve already tried the suggested steps. I completely understand how frustrating this must be.
I’ll make sure to review your original thread so we have the full context of what you’ve tried so far. In the meantime, if you haven’t already, please ensure:

-Your Google Pixel 4a is running the latest software update.
-Network settings are set to automatic and not manually locked to a specific network.
-Wi-Fi Calling is enabled as a backup option if signal is weak.

I can confirm I have checked all of these suggestions. Still not working. I look forward to hearing from you further once you’ve had a chance to check all of the things I’ve already tried.

Dear ​@Lamiya C,

You mentioned in your reply 2 weeks ago that “I’ll make sure to review your original thread so we have the full context of what you’ve tried so far.” Unfortunately this has not yet happened. I’ve already tried all of your suggestions in the reply above from 2 weeks ago and none of them fix the lack of WiFi calling. 

I would be grateful for your prompt attention to this issue, as I absolutely depend on WiFi calling both at home and at work, as the network coverage is so poor I cannot make a phone call.
