Wifi Calling not working at all

I received a new iPhone 17 Pro on friday and since migrating everything and the esim from my previously working iPhone I cannot use wifi calling on any network, it just sends me a text saying I had a missed call. if I try to dial out it just does nothing.

ive tried deleting and getting a new esim but that made no difference and ive tried turning it all off and on again.

ive had to disable wifi calling. how can I make this work?

Thanks

and before you ask about my wifi, it was working on my old iPhone 15 pro, and its working on my wife's 14 pro still. the wifi is strong, its 500mb up and down and very good mesh signal.

Hi @sweeting89  is your handset updated to the latest iOS update? Have you tried a reboot?

Hi there @sweeting89, sorry to hear that. Was the device purchased via us, or elsewhere?

Have you tried resetting network settings?

    Thanks,

    Tyler

Hi @Tyler C yes ive tried that to no avail. My wife has just got iD too and wifi calling doesnt work on any wifi network for her either.

    its very frustrating.

    OK @sweeting89

I would advise to place the phone in Airplane Mode.

You can then enable Wi-Fi (whilst Airplane mode is enabled) and it should force Wi-Fi Calling.

Can you please let us know how you get on.

Hi, sorry for the long delay between replies. I’ve had to just switch it off but it’s got to the point where the signal isn’t good enough to make or receive calls without it.

Every single call just ends up being a text telling me I missed a call.

I’ve tried every which way of switching it off, on etc.

    can someone actually help me
