I've been struggling to enable wifi calling on the galaxy s26, and on further inspection it isn't on the approved phones list for wifi calling from ID mobile. Why is this?

Hi @Mikerob

Thank you for reaching out.

We’re sorry to hear that both lines are experiencing issues with the service at home and work, and we understand how frustrating this must be, especially after trying the troubleshooting steps already available through the Help Hub.

As you have mentioned that Wi-Fi Calling is also not working, please try the following steps:

1. Restart both handsets

  • Switch both iPhones off completely.
  • Wait a few minutes.
  • Turn them back on and test the service again.

2. Refresh the network connection

  • Turn Airplane Mode ON.
  • Leave it on for around 60 seconds.
  • Turn Airplane Mode OFF.
  • Allow the handset time to reconnect to the network.

3. Check Mobile Data settings

On both iPhones:

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Select Mobile Service
  3. Ensure Mobile Data is switched ON
  4. Select Mobile Data Options
  5. Check that the correct settings are enabled

4. Check network selection

  • Go to Settings
  • Select Mobile Service
  • Select Network Selection
  • Turn Automatic OFF
  • Wait for the available networks to appear
  • Select iD Mobile / Three UK
  • Turn Automatic back ON

5. Set the handset to 4G
Where 5G coverage is limited, using 4G can provide a more stable connection.

  1. Open Settings
  2. Select Mobile Service
  3. Tap Voice & Data
  4. Select 4G

6. Check Wi-Fi Calling
Please ensure:

  1. Open Settings
  2. Select Mobile Service
  3. Tap Wi-Fi Calling
  4. Ensure Wi-Fi Calling on This iPhone is enabled

If Wi-Fi Calling still does not work:

  • Restart your router.
  • Test on another Wi-Fi connection if possible.
  • Ensure your iPhone software is fully up to date.

7. Reset network settings (if required)

Please note this will remove saved Wi-Fi passwords and Bluetooth connections.

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Select General
  3. Tap Transfer or Reset iPhone
  4. Select Reset
  5. Choose Reset Network Settings

If the issue continues after completing these steps, please contact us via Live Chat or send us a direct message through our social media channels so we can review the account and investigate this further.
