Iphone 18 pro Max return

I want to return the iphone 18 pro max. the customer care and website mentions that go to Currys to return.

Have been to two different Curry’s showroom (Hayes and Brentford) - and both said they are not authrised to take any return on behalf of ID. 


Spoke to ID again - they still stuck on go to currys.

 

Anyone facing similar issue and any resolution?

      Hi ​@Alok,

       

      Please note that that the new iPhone 18 Pro Max has the biggest battery of any iPhone. Due to transport regulations for phones with larger lithium batteries, returns for this model need to be completed in a Currys store rather than by post.
       
      Please take your iPhone 18 Pro Max and proof of purchase to any Currys store, where our colleagues will be able to process the return for you.
       
      If the store colleague is unfamiliar with the process, advise them a note has been left on your account with instructions relating to the return. The store colleague will then complete the return during your visit without the need to return at a later date.
       
      Your legal and statutory rights are not affected.
