Lack of iPhone 17 Pro Pre-Order Confirmation

I have pre-ordered the iPhone 17 Pro and I’m sure the expected delivery date was around early October but I have not had any confirmation email to tell me exactly what the date was. The only email I received was an “Your order is now being processed” email and I was told to expect a confirmation within 24 hours, which I have not received. It has gave me a reference number but when I asked customer support if my order was there they could not find it. However, they had to use my name and address as they could not look up my order with the reference number.

I’ve also not been charged for anything yet and was wondering if my order has actually gone through and I will be charged and get sent an email once stock has arrived. Don’t want to go buying another phone when this order has actually went through and I just have to wait for stock.
