upgrade pre order delivery issue

Hi, 

I purchased an upgrade of the iPhone 17 on Monday of this week and wasn’t aware it was a pre order? Nothing was said when I was going through with the purchase about it being a pre order. 
just wondering if anyone knows how long I could be waiting as I’ve tried to speak to agents on the chat and I can never get through to anyone

It states ‘Delivered by 30/10/2025’ on the web page.
