Question

Why has my delivery date been pushed back yet the phone is now showing as in stock for delivery in 1 day?

I ordered iPhone 15 a week ago with the estimated delivery date of 7th May. Nothing has been dispatched. I received no emails to say there would be a delay (as promised in my confirmation email). I got in touch via Facebook and was told that it actually won’t be in stock until 14th, they then CHANGED the date on the website to 14th and made me out to be a liar.

Now the phone is showing as in stock and ready delivery in 1 day on your website, yet i still have no updates on my order from a week ago, and I am still being told 14th May.

How can you deliver a phone quicker to someone if they ordered today than your existing customer from a week ago?

This customer service i have experienced is awful and a really bad first impression.

Hi @evermore12,

I am so sorry to hear about the issues you’ve experienced regarding the delivery of your order, especially as this is your first experience with us. I completely understand how frustrating it must be to receive conflicting information and not have any proactive updates about the delay.

Kindly note that the stock which was showing on the website may already have been allocated to existing customer orders or who ordered earlier than what you did, which can sometimes result in newer website availability not immediately reflecting live fulfilment allocations. This would explain why you’re still seeing an estimated date of 14th May for your order despite the device appearing as available online.

That said, I absolutely appreciate how disappointing this experience has been, particularly as you were expecting communication regarding any delays. We’d never want you to feel dismissed or that your concerns weren’t being taken seriously.

Please continue to keep an eye on your email inbox and spam/junk folders for dispatch updates, as you’ll receive confirmation as soon as your order has been prepared and shipped. If you haven’t already, we’d also recommend reaching back out to our Live Chat or Social Media teams with your order details so they can check whether there have been any further updates on your specific order status.

We’re really sorry again for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience while the stock issue is being resolved.

Regards,

Gemma M
