help with a call if its a scam

I received a call saying they were from EE and stated my sim card will be turned off in 24-48 hours. Is this correct? Why are they contacting me when I'm with ID mobile. Or is this a scam

Thank you for reaching out to us. I’m not able to confirm whether this was a scam or not. The best option would be to contact EE and provide them with the number that called you, and they should be able to verify whether it is one of their numbers. If it does turn out to be a scam, they may be able to flag it on their side.

As far as I’m aware, no network provider would call to advise you that your SIM will be disconnected within a set timeframe, so it would be best to check this with EE directly. If you need any further assistance, please do reach out to us again.
