How to set up 2FA on my mobile eSim in the UK

Cant find a link to set up 2FA on my mobile eSim in the UK.  Can somebody help please  with details if it's possible.

2FA (Two-Factor Authentication) is an extra layer of security used by apps and websites to verify your identity, usually by sending a one-time code via SMS or through an authentication app.

 

If you’re trying to use your iD Mobile eSIM for 2FA codes, this should work as normal once your number is fully active and able to receive SMS messages. There isn’t a separate 2FA setup on the SIM itself, as it’s managed by the individual apps or services you’re using.

 

If you’re not receiving verification codes, we’d recommend checking the following:

Your eSIM is correctly installed and active
You have network signal and can send/receive standard SMS messages
Your number is correctly registered with the service you’re trying to use
