How to stop call spoofing

I have just received a call to say that my number is being used for call spoofing. Using my number whilst posing as HMRC. How do I stop this?

    We’re really sorry to hear that your calls are being spoofed, we understand how concerning that can be. Sadly, there isn’t a way to stop this completely without changing your mobile number. If you do decide to go ahead with a number change, this can be arranged by our customer service team and there is a £25.00 charge for the change.
