I recently lost my phone and so my sim and device were both blocked, I then got a new sim but have since found my phone, now when I try to put my new sim in the recently found phone service is not available, I went into curry's earlier and they unblacklisted the device and said it would take 1 hour but it has been longer and still nothing.

    Hi @daisylisa2007,

I'm sorry to hear you're still without service after having the device unblocked.

As Currys have already removed the blacklist, it may just need the phone to refresh its connection to the network. We'd recommend trying a network settings reset:

    For iPhone:

    • Go to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone.
    • Tap Reset.
    • Select Reset Network Settings.
    • Restart your phone and allow a few minutes for it to reconnect.

    For Android:

    • Go to Settings > General Management or System.
    • Tap Reset.
    • Select Reset Mobile Network Settings or Reset Network Settings.
    • Restart the phone.

You can also try turning Airplane Mode on for around 30 seconds and then switching it back off.

If there's still no service after doing this, please contact our Customer Service Team via Live Chat so they can check whether there are any remaining restrictions on the device or SIM: https://www.idmobile.co.uk/live-chat
