I think my mobile number has been spoofed, I keep receiving missed calls claiming I’ve called them but I haven’t done so

Theres another community forum on this. Mine is still getting constant calls but I’ve blocked all unknown calls so theyre going to voicemail which is full- 100 voicemails after deleting about 100  I stopped . Some still get through. iD just say buy a new number.

Online advice is dont answer, not even hello as it uses voice recognition, and aim for the scammer to find the phone inactive. Apparently it will move on to a different poor individual in 24-48 hours -after the 1000s of calls,

The messages are very upsetting, I can undrestand the frustration but I’m called very unpleasant terms.

If you can get through to your voicemail message record a message to say its a scam.

Sadly, I cant get into mine before another call comes through.
