Suspect scam call

Hi, this morning I had a missed call from this number 07878377519

A voice message was left

The message was an automated voice saying that suspicious activity had been detected with my mobile number, and to press 9 in order to discuss it,

Needless to say I've not returned the call

There's no mention of of the network provider

Suspect phishing

Anyone else had this?

Large telecommunications companies don’t call their customers from a mobile phone. I’m surprised people fall for such things.

@Pickardo There are many different call scams going about like @WelshPaul suggested take note, you can also block or report and block these number's within your phone's settings.

I didn't return the call, I blocked, but checked it out on who called me website, nothing reported so far on there, I don't tend to answer if I don't recognise the number

I'm with you on that with my personal phone number, I tend to not answer and block the number's and even report some that I know are scam calls.. My work number it's just that a work number.
