Question

Address issues when buying a plan

I’ve recently been trying to switch to an ID Mobile plan, but I keep having issues flagged saying that I can’t use my address for my billing address. I had a phone call and they said some addresses don’t work due to them being new builds, they said they’d try to put in my previous address instead and it still didn’t work. What should I do?

    Hi @yourmomsgf,

We’re really sorry to hear you’ve been having trouble signing up with us.

As your address is a new build, it’s possible it hasn’t updated fully with the credit reference agencies yet, which can sometimes cause issues during the application process. We’d recommend contacting Experian to make sure your current address is registered and showing correctly on your credit file.

Once this has been updated, please get back in touch with our Sales Team and they’ll be happy to try the application with you again.

We hope this gets sorted for you soon.

    Regards,

    hello again,

I didn’t say this before because I wasn’t sure if it was necessary - I actually live at a dv safe house so we are told to give our address as a PO Box, this means my address doesn’t work when checking out. I’ve tried several times but I always get an email cancelling my order. Is there any way I can still buy a plan?

    Thanks.

    Hi @yourmomsgf

It would be best to contact our sales team on 0800 049 0250 so they can see if they are able to assist you with the order for a plan.
