can't view some websites

I'm new to ID Mobile and I'm having a problem trying to view a website. I gave a dual SIM phone and my current Giffgaff SIM allows me to view these sites but my new ID mobile SIM in the same phone, does not. I have the adult content filter set to view adult sites, although the site in question isn't exactly adult. It's my local libraries log in page. Is there another setting I need to turn on or off please?

Hey there @Samanthag75, thank you for reaching out. I believe that for some websites, Three UK do block via their network that we cannot control when using data, and would request to use Wi-Fi to enter these sites or your other SIM card.

Have you tried re-enabling/disabling the adult content filter via our app and restarting your phone?

Thanks,

Tyler

I've turned on/off adult content a few times. The sites I'm trying to view are not adult sites though. They are for my local library, the log in pages. I'm wanting to turn off my old SIM, to just use the one SIM card, but if IDmobile are limiting which websites you are allowed to view, then I think I'll be changing networks again very soon.

Hey there @Samanthag75, I completely appreciate they may not be adult websites, however, we have no control over what website Three UK control or allow I’m afraid.

Is this the only website you have issues with? Does it work on Wi-Fi okay?

Thanks,

Tyler

I don't have WiFi. But it does work when I use my old SIM in my current device. I've been advised to download and use a VPN for that website, so that is what I've done that and can now connect.

I'm not sure how to delete a question, or how to mark as 'solved'. I'm very new to this company 😁
