cannot login to app as no number

I’ve just signed up to get a pay monthly sim.

I want to keep my number which I’ve been told to do in app, but to sign into the app I need a phone number. I have not been given an ID mobile number to sign in with and my current number doesnt work.

Please can I have advice on how to fix this
