Hello I've currently upgraded using mobiles direct and it's given me a contract that is with ID mobile which is the provider I'm with already. It's given me a new number but I want to keep my old number. I requested a PAC code and I've tried to use it to transfer my old number but it won't let me do it please can you help?

    Hi @Tillytru,

Thank you for reaching out to us regarding this matter.

Based on the scenario you've described, our systems do not support the transfer of a mobile number between separate iD Mobile accounts, nor do they allow two contracts to be merged into a single agreement. Unfortunately, these are not services that we currently offer.

If your aim is to keep your existing mobile number with iD Mobile, the available option would be to upgrade the contract that is currently associated with that number. When a new contract is taken out separately from an existing one, it is set up as an independent agreement with its own start date, minimum term, renewal date, and mobile number.

As a result, any new contract taken out separately cannot be combined with an existing contract or inherit the existing contract's number and term details.

I hope this helps clarify things, but please let us know if you have any further questions and we'll be happy to help. Here is a direct link for our live support chat team who will also be able to support you in terms of further assistance if you prefer speaking to someone: https://www.idmobile.co.uk/live-chat

    Kind regards,
