Connection delays

Hi I’m new to ID on a sim only monthly plan.

I Have uploaded the supplied QR code onto my phone as instructed. This was yesterday and I have yet to be connected. Have I missed something or have I done something wrong?

Please advise how long it usually takes to connect. I’m still using my old network O2 sim for now.

I’m sorry to hear you’re still waiting to get connected,  let’s figure this out together.
Once you’ve scanned the QR code and installed the eSIM, activation usually takes up to 24 hours, but in some cases it can be a little longer. If you’re still using your old O2 SIM, that suggests your number hasn’t fully switched yet. Here are a few things to check:

-Make sure the eSIM profile is active in your phone settings.
-Restart your device after installing the eSIM.
-If you requested a number transfer, it typically completes on the scheduled date (often the next working day).

Thanks for your quick response Lamiya

I haven’t moved my old number over to ID, I’m going to use the new number I was given when I signed up.

I can’t see anywhere in my settings that my eSIM profile is active? I thought that would only happen once I was connected?

I will have another look and also restart my device.

If no joy by tomorrow I will email you.
