DISASTER

I really need some help. I have moved from O2 and I was hoping also with my 3 children. One child has not been allowed to transfer at all because apparently I need to have paid one month’s bill by which time his PAC code will run out. The other two children have had their mobile numbers mixed up and one son has managed to delete his eSIM and now has no SIM at all because you didn’t send physical SIMs meaning he can’t use his phone even with the mixed up number and finally my mobile number will not update to my existing so I only have the temp ID number as my main number and I cannot make any calls or send texts.

I have read through several help topics for my iphone and as yet nothing is working.

This couldn’t be more of a disaster, and now I discover that I can’t even talk to anyone.

How on earth am I meant to sort out this mess???

    Hi @MirandaSnaith,

I'm really sorry to hear how difficult this has been, especially as you're trying to move multiple family members across at the same time.

Based on what you've described, there are a few separate issues here. Unfortunately, the point about your child not being able to transfer their number yet isn't something that we can override. If you've been advised that a bill payment is required before the transfer can proceed, you'll need to wait until that requirement has been met, as this forms part of our internal security and validation checks.

    As for the other issues:

    • The mixed-up numbers will need to be reviewed on the accounts.
    • If your son has deleted his eSIM, a replacement eSIM may need to be issued.
    • If your own number transfer hasn't completed correctly and you're still showing the temporary iD Mobile number, this will also need to be investigated.

These are all account-specific issues, so we'll need our Customer Service Team to look into them directly.

I appreciate this isn't the smooth start you were expecting, and I'm sorry for the frustration and stress this has caused.

    Regards,
