eSIM not downloaded or visible!

I paid for an eSIM deal and hit the download button but it did not appear in settings-mobile services- sims. I can’t re download as the link is no longer valid. This was many hours ago.
How do I solve this and activate my phone. It’s an iPhone 13 with recent iOS.
