How do I find my transaction number? I don't have a welcome email.

I’ve received my SIM in the post and want to switch my old number to ID but don’t have a transaction number.  It’s not clear from the welcome information on the website exactly what you’re meant to do to set up you ID mobile account and switch the number.

I’ve found out how to do it but I think there needs to be more detailed guidance for new customers.  Without a welcome email, I had to sign up for an account with the ID mobile number provided then go into my account where I could see the transaction number to start the number switch process.  It’s not quite as simple as the 1,2,3 shown on the website.  Hope this helps others in the future.
