    Hi @Miss.Ays444

No, SIMs (Physical or eSim) are not ‘built in’ to phones.
Do you have either one installed in your handset?
If not, you need to obtain a physical Sim (shop/on-line) or eSim (on-line) and then get it activated for use.
Are you a new customer to iD Mobile or an existing customer?
If you are a new customer:-
    https://www.idmobile.co.uk/switch

If you are a customer of iD Mobile and need to replace a SIM/eSim in your phone:-

This information confirms the details required to connect your phone once a SIM is installed and activated:-

If you need to discuss this matter further then your best option is to contact an advisor via Live Chat  (The Live Chat team are available 9am - 8pm Monday to Friday, and 9am - 6pm Saturday and Sunday) :-

     https://www.idmobile.co.uk/live-chat

When you contact the Live Chat :-

Type ‘talk to a person’ in the dialogue box and this will bypass the unhelpful chatbot.

Please be patient as the agents handle a few conversations at any one time so there will be a delay in connecting with an available agent and also any replies to your query.

    Good luck x

    Hi @Miss.Ays444,

If you're using an iPhone, some models support eSIM, which is a digital SIM that's built into the phone. This means you won't see a physical SIM card if your service is set up on an eSIM.

To check whether your iD Mobile service is active:

    1. Go to Settings.
    2. Tap Mobile Service (or Cellular).
    3. Check whether you can see an iD Mobile plan listed.
    4. If the eSIM is showing, make sure it is switched On.

If your phone is still showing No Service:

    1. Restart the iPhone.
    2. Turn Airplane Mode on for 60 seconds, then off again.
    3. Go to Settings > Mobile Service > Network Selection and try turning Automatic off and back on.
    4. Check whether the eSIM is still listed under your Mobile Service settings.

If there is no sign of service, contact our customer service team via live chat so that they can have a look into this for you.

    Regards,
