+10Try checking your phone’s settings to ensure VOLTE option turned on.

VoLTE is already enabled on your iD Mobile SIM (as this is the type of network 4G uses) and this appears to be a handset problem, as the Google Pixel 3a is on the approved handsets list:-
Using the ‘phone calls’ keypad, type *#*#4636#*#* and then select "Phone Information" …. Is the ‘VoLTE provisioned’ and ‘WiFi Calling provisioned’ flags greyed out?
