Ive received the text from ID to say the switch over is complete, however the temporary number is still showing on RSC Google texts. I therefore turned off RSC, turned off phone, removed ID Sim, put it back in, turned on and still my temprary number is showing. This is causing problems. I never changed Google to this temp number so that was done by the new ID Sim. Ive removed the temp number from my Google ac, however its still there on RSC Google messages. Ive had to turn off RSC messages and now MSM messages have stopped working. Help.

I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble with this, I know how frustrating it can be.
It sounds like your number hasn’t fully updated in the RCS system yet, which can sometimes take a little longer even after the switch is confirmed.
Let’s try the following steps to fix it:
Go to your phone settings and turn off RCS/Chat features in Google Messages
Clear the cache and data for the Google Messages app
Restart your phone
Turn RCS/Chat features back on and allow it to re-verify your number
Kindly try the following settings as well:
Go to the Contacts app, click on your name, then click on Edit and then update your phone no. and Save. Go back to About phone and check if the number has been updated.

Thanks for your response. Unfortunately none of these are working. Ive tried all of the above multiple times and as soon as I switch back on RCS messages, the temporary number is showing as the ID Sim. What else can be done please as none of these options are working and when K message people, they dont know who I am.
