Hi @Colalola

Are you already on an iD Mobile plan and just moving from a physical SIM to an ESIM?

Are you transferring from another network (onto an ESIM) using a PAC code?
https://my.idmobile.co.uk/switch-to-id/keep-number

If not, how did you order the ESim?

Your other option is to contact the Live Chat via this link (The Live Chat team are available 9am - 8pm Monday to Friday, and 9am - 6pm Saturday and Sunday) to discuss this:-

 https://www.idmobile.co.uk/live-chat

When you contact the Live Chat :-

Type ‘talk to a person’ in the dialogue box and this will bypass the unhelpful chatbot.

Please be patient as the agents handle a few conversations at any one time so there will be a delay in connecting with an available agent and also any replies to your query.

You can also contact iD Mobile by sending a private message via their Socials (Facebook, X or Instagram)

iD Mobile social media accounts:-

or email socialqueries@idmobile.co.uk.

Hope this helps x

Great, so i completed the pac code and says start date 8th April. When I try to log into the app it still wants the number they allocated. Is this because the switch hasn't happened?

Hi @Colalola,

If your PAC transfer is showing a start date of 8th April, that means your number hasn’t fully switched over just yet. Until the transfer completes, your account will still be linked to the temporary number that was originally assigned to your SIM.

So when logging into the iD Mobile app, it’s expected that it still recognises that original number for now. Once the switch completes on the 8th, your account should automatically update to your transferred number.

If you’re still having trouble logging in after the transfer date, it’s worth trying to:

  • Log out and back in again
  • Reinstall the app
  • Or register/login using your email address instead

If anything doesn’t look right after the 8th, just pop back here and we’ll be happy to help further.

Regards,
