    Hi @zainabq

Your iD Mobile SIM on iPhone 13 Pro Max needs VoLTE (Voice over LTE) enabled, as data works but calls/SMS fail usually means 4G voice isn't active; enable it in Settings, check for carrier updates/software updates, reset network settings, or if it's a brand new SIM, allow time for activation, or contact iD Mobile support if issues persist.

    Initial Checks & Fixes (iPhone)
    1. Enable VoLTE (Voice over 4G): Go to Settings > Mobile Data > Mobile Data Options > Voice & Data and select LTE/4G/VoLTE (or similar option).
    2. Check Carrier Settings Update: Go to Settings > General > About. Wait a few seconds; a prompt for a carrier update might appear.
    3. Restart Phone: A force restart (Volume Up, Volume Down, Hold Side Button) can fix glitches.
    4. Reset Network Settings: Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset Network Settings. This removes Wi-Fi passwords but can fix connectivity issues.
    5. Check iD Mobile Service Status: Look for outages in your area on their website.
    Deeper Troubleshooting
    • SIM Activation: New SIMs can take a few hours to fully activate.
    • iMessage/Facetime: If these don't work, they often rely on SMS/calls, so fixing calls/SMS should help.
    • Compare Settings: If you have another working iD SIM/phone, compare settings on the problematic iPhone.
    • Check for Blocked Contacts/Focus Modes: Ensure you haven't accidentally blocked numbers or enabled "Do Not Disturb".
    Contact Support
    • If these steps fail, it could be an account issue or network problem. Use iD Mobile's online chat or call them to confirm your account is provisioned correctly and check for widespread issues

To speak to an agent then you need to contact the Live Chat:-

    https://www.idmobile.co.uk/live-chat

Type ‘talk to a person’ when you open the dialogue box to bypass the unhelpful chatbot.
Please be patient as the agents handle a few conversations at any one time so there will be a delay in connecting with an available agent and also any replies to your query.

    Or

Send a private message via their Socials (Facebook, X or Instagram)
    iD Mobile social media accounts:-

    or email socialqueries@idmobile.co.uk.

    Good Luck x

    Hi @zainabq ,

Yes, that’s correct and I agree with , @Decembersangel72   enabling VoLTE, checking carrier updates, restarting the phone, or resetting network settings usually resolves this issue. If it persists, contacting iD Mobile Live Chat or their social support is the next best step.
