Issue with eSIM – Outgoing Calls Failing

Hello,

I’ve just set up an eSIM on my new iPhone 16 Pro Max and I’m having issues with calls.

  • I can receive calls.
  • I can make some outgoing calls (e.g. to my wife), but others (e.g. to my daughter and to 7777/333) fail instantly with “Call Failed.”
  • I’ve also been receiving JibeRCS verification codes that I didn’t request.
  • When I turn off the “Travel Plan” option in my Mobile Service settings, the eSIM loses all service and I can’t make or receive any calls.

It seems like my eSIM has only been partially provisioned, and is being treated as a roaming/travel profile instead of a normal UK line.

Could you please:

  1. Fully re-provision my eSIM.
  2. Ensure my line is set up correctly for all outgoing calls and messaging services.

Thank you.

It seems your phone is incorrectly configured. You may have more than one eSIM or SIM installed. Remove any unused or old ones and perform a network reset.

    Hi @Ayatt

I’d recommend the above from @WelshPaul, it’ll be worth double checking for any other SIMs in the device and ensuring the iD Mobile SIM is selected for the services you want to use it for.
