cant set up voice mail. automated service won’t accept any pin I suggest

Thanks for getting in touch, and sorry to hear you’re having trouble setting up your voicemail.

 

If the automated service isn’t accepting your PIN, this is usually due to one of the following:

  • The default PIN hasn’t been reset yet correctly
  • The PIN being entered doesn’t meet the required format
  • A temporary network issue affecting voicemail setup

Please try the following steps:

  1. Dial 123 from your iD Mobile handset to access voicemail.
  2. When prompted for a PIN, enter the default PIN as 8705 (unless you’ve already changed it previously).
  3. If this is accepted, you’ll be prompted to set a new PIN—please choose a 4–10 digit number that is not easily guessable.
  4. Once set, hang up and try calling voicemail again to confirm it’s working.

If it still won’t accept any PIN, please:

  • Restart your handset
  • Ensure you have network signal (voicemail setup won’t complete without it)
  • Try again after a few minutes
