Hi I purchased a new phone from ID Mobile and have an old mobile with Vodafone which I want to transfer the number. In the process of setting up the new iPhone I mistakenly said yes to transfer the number so it moved the number from Vodafone over to the new iPhone as an eSIM. It then disconnected the service on the old Vodafone mobile. I did get a PAC code from Vodafone prior to this.
I have since removed the eSIM from the new phone and have tried to go through the Porting process but it keeps coming back with a problem. Tried contacting support via the chatbot but it's absolute garbage. Says Average wait time is 20 mins but disconnects before anyone responds. Any help appreciated

Hi there
That is correct, once your switch is complete, your old contract automatically cancels.
