Hi I have just been refused a new contract with ID mobile. I thought I’d left it for six weeks from my previous contract. I’ve taken two out for my children and I’d like to add a third for myself

Hi @Stevemorris4475

Thank you for getting in touch with us.

I'm sorry to hear that your recent application was unsuccessful.

Applications for new contracts are subject to eligibility and credit assessments at the time of application, and unfortunately, we are unable to influence or override the outcome of these checks.

As you have mentioned that you have recently taken out two contracts for your children and are now looking to add a third for yourself, it is possible that the application was affected by the assessment criteria used at the time.

Could you please confirm if you are applying for phone contract deal or sim only deal.

Thank you,

Zandile m

It was for another iphone 17 sage green 256gb

the deal was £149 upfront then 500gb data with data rollover and eu roaming for £29.99 per month. Its an excellent deal and I would like to take this out before  going on holiday at the end of July so I would benefit from the better camera etc. I know you have a policy waiting six weeks in between contracts to be able to take out a new one but do you have a policy of having a maximum of two? I just can’t see a situation where I would fail the credit check? I have a perfect credit rating.
