Question

New contract too early. Should I cancel?

I’ve opened a new, sim only, contract a few days before my old contract ended. Can I slow it down or should I cancel and start again later?

    Hi @Nibor180.

Thanks for your post. I can see why this situation feels a bit confusing.

If you’ve taken out a new SIM-only contract in addition to your existing one, please note that our system doesn’t support transferring numbers or plans between two iD Mobile contracts. This means you wouldn’t be able to move the new number onto your current plan internally.

In this situation, the best option would be:

If you’re still within the 14-day returns period, you can cancel the new SIM-only contract
Then, upgrade your existing plan to the one you actually want instead

This will help ensure everything stays on a single account and avoids any unnecessary complications.

    Thanks,

    Marquerita

    Hi @Nibor180

You can keep your new plan with iD Mobile active, and once your contract with O2 ends, you can transfer your number from O2 to iD Mobile.
