Question

New customer, new SIM, can't get registered (just getting the "Oops" message

I’m a new customer with a new (physical) SIM trying to get registered and logged into the app and / or website. The SIM is working fine I can make / receive calls and access the internet. However… whenever I try to register using the app or website, I get as far as the phone number / name / date-of birth bit and then get the “Oops there was an error, please try again” message. I’ve tried again and again over multiple hours, but it’s still not working. Can you advise?

I am having this exact issue! Considering it's the two of us it could be a network problem? Seems to happen a lot by the questions though! I hope you get it sorted. I've had it for hours, it won't connect at all.

Finally got it to work and can access my account, but am now getting the same error when trying to use my PAC to port my number in. Anyone from ID Mobile able to offer any advice?

    Hi @JessyLou93 and @Purely,

I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble registering your account.

If your SIM is working correctly for calls, texts and mobile data, but you're receiving an "Oops, there was an error, please try again" message when trying to register, we'd first recommend trying to register through the website instead of the app: https://my.idmobile.co.uk/login

If you've already tried both the app and the website and the error continues, we'll need to take a closer look at the account.

Please contact our Customer Service Team via Live Chat: https://www.idmobile.co.uk/live-chat

We apologise for the inconvenience and appreciate you've already tried multiple times. The team will be able to investigate the registration issue and advise on the next steps.

    Regards,
