New iD Mobile SIM Not Working

Hi everyone,

 

I ordered a phone contract recently and received the delivery today. Unfortunately, the SIM card that came with the phone isn’t working at all. It’s not being detected in the new phone or even in my old phone, and it doesn’t read or show any signal.

 

I’ve tried contacting support through the live chat, but it seems to be down right now. I’ve also been searching everywhere for a customer service phone number, but couldn’t find one, which has been really frustrating and not a great start.

 

At the moment, I can’t even receive the verification code via email to activate the SIM, which means I can’t switch it to an eSIM either.

 

Can anyone from iD Mobile or the community advise me what I can do next to get this sorted?

Also, is this kind of issue common with iD Mobile? Because if this is how it usually goes, I might prefer to return everything while I still can.

@Hma  OK so your new package with sim not working if it possible go into a Curry's store with your phone and Sim card and you'll need ID like a passport or driving licence. And ask for a replacement sim they'll be able to help you set it up. The sim card does come actived and replacement sim cards I believe you' will have to activate these.
