New phone set up help needed

Hi ​@Hello to all .

 

That message usually appears on Apple devices when there’s an issue with the passcode during setup or after a reset. It’s essentially directing you to follow steps to unlock or recover access to your phone.

 

Here are a few things you can try:

Double check you’re entering the correct passcode (including any previous passcodes if recently changed)
Make sure the device is connected to WiFi or mobile data
Follow the on-screen instructions or visit the link shown for guidance

 

If you’re unable to unlock the device, you may need to reset it using a computer via iTunes/Finder, which will remove the passcode, just keep in mind this can erase the data if it’s not backed up.
