I have just joined id and received my new sim but it is not working im not receiving your texts

Thanks for getting in touch, and welcome to iD Mobile. We’re sorry to hear your new SIM isn’t working and that you’re not receiving texts.

 

Please try the following steps:

  • Turn your phone OFF and back ON
  • Remove and reinsert the SIM to make sure it’s seated correctly
  • Turn Airplane Mode ON for 30 seconds, then OFF
  • Check Settings > Mobile Network and make sure mobile service is enabled
  • Ensure Network Selection is set to Automatic
  • Try manually searching for available networks and reconnect
  • If possible, test the SIM in another phone

 

If you’ve transferred your number from another provider, please also keep in mind that number transfers can sometimes take a little time to fully complete.

 

If you’re still unable to receive texts after trying the above, please contact Live Chat and they can check the activation status of the SIM and account for you.

Hi Gemma,

We transferred from Sky and both Sky and ID have confirmed the number swap has taken place.
