Question

Not happy with my order and number switch

So I am a existing customer and wanted to leave EE and bring my other number over.

Made a order on the 04/08/2026 , at the time of ordering gave me the earliest option for switch as I had already put my PAC code in during order process for today (07/08/2026).

SIM card was despatched late so will not receive it till tomorrow as per royal mail tracking.

I am now disconnected from EE, have no physical sim card to hand from ID MOBILE and I am left with no service now. Was told earlier via live chat by Chane that if I needed a SIM card to go to my nearest Currys branch and get a SIM card which unfortunately I cannot do and shouldn't have too.

All in all a sour experience considering with the existing device and SIM plan had no issues at all with the order and switch.

    Hi @Bav77870,

    Thank you for your message.

We're very sorry to hear about this and sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused.

This is certainly not the experience we want our customers to have, and we completely understand how frustrating it must be to be left without service.

Once your SIM card arrives, if you need any assistance getting connected, please don't hesitate to get back to us and we'll be happy to help.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

    Thanks,

Hi thank you for the reply, evidently my phone is not compatible so now I'm having to buy a new device. Can you or are you able to confirm that the Honor Magic 8 Pro is a compatible device as it's not your compatible device lists but you do sell this device. I have purchased via Honor directly due to the incentives. But again I will be without service till the new device arrives.

    Thanks
