Not receiving verification text message

I’m trying to add my new id mobile number to my account in the app or on the website, but I never receive the text to verify.  I’m just verifying a new number, not porting my existing one.  I can receive normal text messages on the number without any problems.

We're sorry to hear you're having trouble verifying your new number.

 

If you're able to receive normal text messages but aren't receiving the verification SMS from the app or website, it sounds like there may be an issue with the verification process rather than with your messaging service.

 

We'd recommend trying the following first:

  • Restart your phone.
  • Make sure you have a good network signal.
  • Try requesting the verification code again after a few minutes.
  • If you're using the app, try the website instead (or vice versa).
