one time passcode not being recievved

 ive just opened an account with it you, however i cant recieve my one time password to activate the account. I have requested my existing number be ported over and this has been done as far as I'm aware

Thanks for getting in touch, and I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble receiving the OTP to activate your account.

 

If your number transfer (PAC/port) has recently completed, this can sometimes temporarily affect services such as OTP texts while the number fully finishes provisioning across the network.

 

We’d recommend trying the following first:

  • Restart your phone completely
  • Toggle Airplane Mode ON for 30 seconds, then OFF again
  • Ensure you have signal and can send/receive normal texts
  • Try removing and reinserting the SIM (if physical SIM)
  • Make sure the transferred number is showing correctly on the device

 

If you’re using an iPhone after a number transfer, we’d also recommend:

  • Go to Settings
  • Tap Phone
  • Tap My Number
  • Ensure your transferred number is showing correctly
  • If an old/temporary number appears, update it and save

 

If the port has only recently completed, it may also be worth allowing a little additional time for all messaging services to fully sync.
