order confirmed but no phone number

I bought a sim only plan. I’ve received confirmation and sim is on route but I don’t have a phone number yet? Would they have sent it through by now? I’ve got a message saying if you want to switch send your pac code but I’m not switching - just setting up

Thanks for getting in touch.

As you’re setting up a brand-new SIM-only plan and aren’t transferring an existing number, you’ll be given a new iD Mobile number. Once your SIM arrives, it should already be activated and ready to use.

You can find your new number in a few ways:

Check your Welcome to iD email, as your new iD Mobile number should be provided there.
Insert the SIM into your phone and make a call or send a text to another phone you have access to. Your new number should be displayed.
On iPhone, go to Settings > Phone > My Number.
On Android, go to Settings > About phone > Phone number. The exact steps may vary depending on your handset.

As you’re not switching an existing number over, you can ignore the message asking you to provide a PAC code.

If you still can’t locate your number once the SIM has arrived, please let us know and we’ll advise further.
