PAC Code Error, retained phone number typed into switch twice & not the retained & the new mobile number

Hi

Hope you can help. I contacted the live chat service as I missed to type my PAC code in order to retain my old number when I was signing up for a new iD Mobile contract. The live chat person said they could help as my browser was also not letting me access the Switch link. I’ve kept the chat transcript and instead of typing my new iD Mobile phone number, the live chat person typed the mobile phone number I wish to retain into both fields then the PAC code. Switch over should have been yesterday but now there is no service using my old number. I’ve phoned my previous carrier and my old phone number has left them so they can’t issue a replacement PAC code. Can this be sorted out ? or have I lost my old number forever ?
