Since switching to ID at the start of June I have not been able to receive text messages and calls.

I have tried customer service 3 times. They have been easy to talk to but we're at the stage where I have just received and activated a new SIM yesterday with no success, after trying everything on this list multiple times.

Including also being told to reset network settings (don't do that if they say to as it wipes all WiFi and Bluetooth history too which is very annoying).

I was so hopeful to switch to ID but it's turning into a new kind of hell and I wouldn't recommend switching to anyone.

It is now becoming a serious issue as I start some work on Friday which relies of text for verification with no other options and could lose me a contract which is my income for July/August.

Seeing other articles about a split port which only ID technical team can sort? Someone please help/ ID please escalate this to you technical support team ASAP - deadline Friday!

Hi @Dazzles,

We're really sorry to hear that you're still experiencing this issue, especially with work starting on Friday and the impact this could have on you.

We also apologise that none of the troubleshooting completed so far has resolved the problem.

As you've already been through the standard checks and are still unable to receive calls and texts, it may be worth trying another replacement SIM if the newly activated SIM hasn't made any difference.

Unfortunately, we're unable to arrange replacement SIMs from the Community, so we'd recommend getting back in touch with our Customer Service team via Live Chat as soon as possible. They'll be able to review what's been done so far, arrange a further replacement SIM if appropriate, and escalate the issue where required.

You can contact them here: https://www.idmobile.co.uk/live-chat

We sincerely hope this gets resolved quickly for you.

Regards,
