Ported number, eSIM needed please

Hello, I need to convert my mobile plan to an eSIM immediately. My number transfer is complete, but my physical SIM card is completely ignored by my iPhone 14 Pro and shows no service (while the SIM works fine in another phone). Because of this hardware incompatibility, I have been left without phone service and mobile data for 3 days. Please issue an eSIM profile for my number right now

Hi there,

I'm sorry to hear you've been without service for the last 3 days following your number transfer.

As the physical SIM is working in another handset, we'd first recommend carrying out a network reset and some additional troubleshooting steps on your iPhone 14 Pro before we arrange a replacement SIM type.

Network Reset (iPhone)

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Select General.
  3. Scroll down and tap Transfer or Reset iPhone.
  4. Tap Reset.
  5. Select Reset Network Settings.
  6. Enter your passcode if prompted and confirm the reset.

If the issue continues, please try the following steps:

  1. Restart your handset.
  2. Remove the SIM card and gently wipe it clean.
  3. Reinsert the SIM card.
  4. Turn Flight Mode on for 30 seconds, then turn it off again.
  5. Open Settings > Phone > My Number.
  6. Ensure your number is entered correctly, replacing the leading 0 with +44.
    • Example: +447XXXXXXXXX
  7. Turn iMessage off.
  8. Power off your iPhone for 5-10 minutes.
  9. Turn the device back on.
  10. Go to Settings > Phone and check that My Number is still set correctly.
  11. Reset iMessage:
    • Go to Settings > Messages.
    • Toggle iMessage OFF, then back ON.
    • Once activated, tap Send & Receive and check that your correct mobile number is selected.

Please note that it may take a few minutes for the number to update and display correctly on your handset.

If you've completed all of the above and you're still unable to get service, please contact our Live Chat team using the link below so they can assess the account and arrange an eSIM if required:
