Purchased ID Mobile monthly plan but didn't get to provide PAC to transfer old number - unanswered

I just purchased the eSim monthly plan on ID Mobile on the mobiles.co.uk site. However, there wasn’t an opportunity to provide my PAC code as I am coming from O2.

I want to keep my old number from O2.

I’ve just created an ID mobile account, however it is asking me to register a mobile number. Should I be activating my eSim first to get an ID Mobile number? I am unable to login and proceed further without this new ID Mobile number - but I don’t want a new number as I want to keep my existing one that I use with O2.

I can confirm that I’ve received an email from ID Mobile saying that my eSIM is ready and I just need to activate it - should I complete this bit first?

What steps should I be doing please - your help is much appreciated!

I managed to do it by registering and activating the eSIM.

Once that’s done, go to your “Plan” section at the top of the screen.

Then look for the “Need help?” group of options and its “Switch to iD” (screenshot attached)

    Hi @ohmaigotjoe,

Thanks for coming back and sharing the solution you found.

It's great to hear that you managed to get everything working by registering and activating the eSIM first. Your step-by-step explanation will be really helpful for other Community members, such as @Jeezllouise and @Caitmobile who might be trying to transfer their number and aren't sure where to find the option.

Thanks again for taking the time to post your workaround and help others in the Community.
