I have an ID sim that I pay for but have never used it. I wish to use it in a mifi but how can I activate the sim without firstly putting it in a phone (I already have a ID mobile sim that I don’t want to change)
is this possible as I already have an unlocked Mifi
or would it be easier to buy another phone and use that on a personal hot spot basis.

I’d like to clarify that iD Mobile SIMs are primarily designed for use in mobile phones. While they may work in some MiFi routers, compatibility cannot be guaranteed across all devices, so you’re welcome to try it and see if it works for you.

Thanks for your response, however there is no way of activating the SIM without it being in a handset. Once the SIM is activated, you can put it into the MiFi device to see if it works.
