I bought a SIM only for my daughter on Mon 11 Aug with a switch over date of Mon 18th. However yesterday, Wed 13th the switch over happened and I hadn't received my SIM yet. My daughter now has no service. I went to my local Currys store this morning and picked up a replacement SIM, however I cannot activate it because my daughter does not have any service to receive the confirmation code. What can I do to activate the SIM?

You can chat with a live chat agent, who should be able to activate your replacement SIM there and then. However, they will only be able to chat with the account owner.
