if you look into your 4G/5G Router’s settings, majority have a page that allows for sending/receiving SMS.

Currently using TPS Link, which has option, as my last HUAWEI did.😄

Hi @Very Frustrated,

We're sorry to hear you're having trouble.

All mobile phones should come with a built-in messaging (SMS) app, so you shouldn't need to download one separately.

If you're using an Android phone:

  1. Open Settings > Apps.
  2. Tap See all apps and look for Messages (or your manufacturer's messaging app, such as Samsung Messages).
  3. If it's disabled, tap Enable.
  4. If you can't find it, open the Google Play Store, search for Google Messages and install it. This is Google's official messaging app and is free to use.

If you're using an iPhone:

  1. The Messages app is built into iOS and cannot normally be removed.
  2. If it's missing from your Home Screen, swipe down on the Home Screen and search for Messages.
  3. If you've removed it from the Home Screen, you can add it back from the App Library.
  4. If it still isn't available, restart your iPhone and make sure it's running the latest version of iOS.

If you're still unable to find or use the Messages app, let us know the make and model of your new phone and we'll be happy to help further.

Regards,
