STAC/eSIM Number Transfer Delay - Switched Off on Old Network, Not Live on iD

I'm writing to the community as I'm experiencing a significant delay with my number transfer and am urgently in need of assistance.

I signed up for a new contract with iD Mobile on Tuesday, September 2nd. At the same time, I requested a STAC number from my old provider and booked the number switch for Monday, September 8th.

I received my new phone and followed the instructions to activate the eSIM on Thursday, September 5th. On Sunday, September 7th, my old provider's service was switched off, as expected. I waited for my number to switch to iD Mobile on Monday, as planned, but it never happened. It's now Tuesday night, September 9th, and my number is still not active on the iD Mobile network.

This is causing a major problem as I have numerous accounts for banking, email, and other services that rely on two-factor authentication via this number.

Could you please tell me how long I should expect to wait for the number switch to be completed? Is there anything I can do to resolve this issue? I need my number to be active as soon as possible.

Thank you for your help.

Hi @Claudio Souza  is it definitely a STAC you requested and not a PAC? A PAC (Porting Authorisation Code) allows you to transfer your existing mobile number to a new provider, while a STAC (Service Termination Authorisation Code) is used to terminate your current mobile service without transferring your number. So if you had used a STAC, no number would switch over.

If you requested a STAC and submitted it to iD Mobile, you submitted a request to terminate your old number, not port it over.
